This graphic image is my interpretation of a photograph taken at a
camp in 1996. The original photograph didn't have quite as much
sillhouette, and two small canoes were piled neared the coast, and
the sky had a much redder hue with the sun lower on the horizon. I
felt it needed a more balanced composition with far more contrast
to portray a place of ultimate solitude and comfort. The water
ripples could be fixed up for perspective, but the sun's reflection
makes up for that problem. Otherwise, I love this image.
